House, a nature and eco-inspired development is amongst the inaugural
batch of projects to be awarded the ABC Waters Certification. The certification
is awarded to exemplary projects that demonstrate how the protection of
Singapore’s scarce water resources is made possible with innovative urban
planning, thus ensuring sustainability.

Suites received the Highly Commended award for Best Architecture
(Multiple Units) at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2010 in association with
Bloomberg Television. The award celebrates the highest level of achievement by
companies that demonstrate innovation and uniqueness in architectural style of a
property.

Workplace Safety and Health Council
Awarded in recognition of CDL’s sharing of its
Workplace Safety and Health system and practices with participating small and
medium enterprises. CDL is the only private developer to be accorded this
certification. In 2008, CDL was recognised as the first developer to be a
bizSAFE partner by Ministry of Manpower.
CDL maintained its leadership in green building having won
the most number of Green Mark Platinum Awards at the BCA Awards 2010. With 40
CDL developments being awarded the BCA Green Mark Awards, of which 10 are of the
highest-tier Platinum rating, this represents the highest number of BCA Green
Mark Awards presented to a Singapore developer to-date since the introduction of
the Green Mark Scheme by the BCA in 2005.
Cube 8, an
architectural masterpiece by CDL, took double honours at the Cityscape Awards
for Real Estate in Asia. Besides winning the Best Developer – Residential
(Future) Award, Cube 8 also received the Highly Commended Seal of Distinction in
the Green Development (Future) category.
The annual Cityscape Awards
recognize the best of Asian Real Estate, with winners chosen by a jury
comprising of industry experts. The awards recognise the innovation and
achievements of real estate players across the world and their contributions in
further developing and improving the overall industry standards.
The
Sail @ Marina Bay, a majestic 245-metre tall architectural gem by CDL
and AIG Asian Real Estate Partners, L.P., emerged victorious in the Residential
(High-Rise) Category at the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards
2010.
Designed by world-renowned Norwegian/American architect Peter
Pran, The Sail @ Marina Bay’s unique sculptural form and enviable position
as Singapore’s tallest and one of the world’s tallest residences has
elevated it to a modern architectural icon locally and globally. The 70-storey
Marina Bay Tower and 63-storey Central Park Tower of The Sail @ Marina Bay,
comprising 1,111 apartments, are an awe-inspiring sight, designed to redefine
the city skyline and set a new standard in urban waterfront
living.
Conferred by a panel comprising the world’s top real
estate professionals and experts, the prestigious FIABCI Prix d'Excellence
Awards recognise projects of outstanding achievement and overall merit that best
embody excellence in all the real estate disciplines involved in its
creation.

Tampines Grande received the LEED Gold Certification from the US Green
Building Council (USGBC) – the first and highest rating achieved by a
completed Singapore project. LEED is an internationally recognised green
building certification system, providing third-party verification that a
building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving
performance across all metrics that matter most: energy savings, water
efficiency, carbon dioxide emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental
quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
CDL is the only private property developer in Singapore to
be conferred the RoSPA Gold Medal Award for excellence in Occupational Health
and Safety management in the workplace. The Gold Medal Award is presented to
organisations who have achieved five to nine consecutive Gold Awards. CDL has
been a recipient of the RoSPA Gold Award since 2006.
