As announced by CDL on 3 March 2025, Mr Kwek Leng Beng and other directors of CDL had filed an originating application (“Application”) before the High Court of Singapore on 25 February 2025 against several directors of CDL (“Respondents”), including Ms Chan as an Independent Non-Executive Director of CDL. At the hearing on 26 February 2025, the High Court directed the Respondents to refrain from taking any action in relation to certain subsidiaries of CDL that would prejudice the positions of parties to the Application pending its resolution.
