We cultivate sustainability at Republic Plaza. One tenant at a time.

City Developments Limited's (CDL) commitment towards sustainability goes beyond constructing environmentally conscious buildings. We believe it’s about fostering a community of like-minded individuals with the same concern for saving the environment.

In 2014, CDL launched the Green Lease Partnership Program, encouraging our tenants to adopt eco-friendly practices and lower energy consumption.

Since then, we have extended our environmental commitment with the City Green Tenant Bonus Programme. Beginning at Republic Plaza, the programme encourages tenants to achieve a 10% reduction in their annual power usage.

And the rewards? Not just for the planet but for tenants, too. Tenants who complete this challenge receive a generous dollar-for-dollar rebate through CDL E-Vouchers.

To set them in the right direction, eligible tenants are welcomed with a comprehensive starter pack containing self-help energy saving tools. Complete with energy-saving tips, an energy-tracking service for the 10% challenge and exclusive access to CDL green-related events, the programme allows them to tap into CDL's eco-aware knowledge and resource support, so that they don’t have to start from scratch.

With every kilowatt-hour saved and earth-conscious initiative implemented, we move closer towards a greener future.

CDL is not just a builder; we are a catalyst for change, inspiring tenants to join our eco-centric journey. Our malls and offices are not only built with the environment in mind but are also managed to become a thriving hub for tenants and businesses to work and operate with like-minded eco-efficiency.

The result: Wider eco-awareness among tenants, more CDL rebates and higher tenant profitability.

This rare approach demonstrates a genuine partnership, where the landlord actively invests in the tenant's financial success, moving beyond conventional lease agreements.
