Singapore, 9 January 2026 – City Developments Limited (CDL) has once again been included in the 2025 CDP A List for its environmental leadership in climate change and water security initiatives. This marks CDL’s eighth consecutive year achieving an ‘A’ score for Climate Change and seventh consecutive year for Water Security. CDL remains the only company in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong on the CDP A List for Climate Change for eight consecutive years, and for Water Security for seven years, underscoring its enduring regional leadership in sustainability performance.

CDP’s annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is internationally recognised as the gold benchmark for corporate environmental transparency. CDP holds the world’s largest environmental database and, since 2000, has tracked, assessed and disclosed companies’ climate data to manage climate and environmental risks. CDP scores are widely used to drive investment and procurement decisions towards a zero-carbon, sustainable and resilient economy.

In 2025, more than 640 Capital Markets Signatories – representing over a quarter of global institutional assets – requested companies to disclose their environmental data through CDP. Securing the A list for 2025 places CDL among the top 4% of companies assessed globally.

Besides the CDP A list, CDL’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) best practices have been recognised by leading global sustainability ratings, including an ‘AAA’ rating by MSCI ESG Ratings since 2010. CDL is also ranked on the ESG Regional Top Rated and ESG Industry Top Rated in Sustainalytics’ 2025 ESG Risk Rating assessment, among others. These assessments span topics such as emissions reduction, carbon management strategies and corporate governance.

CDL Awarded Inaugural EcoVadis Gold Medal – Reflecting Strong and Responsible Supply Chain Engagement

CDL has been awarded a Gold Medal by EcoVadis on its first-ever sustainability assessment, placing it among the top 5% of companies assessed globally in the 12 months prior to the medal issuance. This recognition underscores CDL’s robust commitment to sustainability governance and responsible business practices across its value chain.

This achievement aligns with CDL’s ongoing efforts to promote transparency and responsible supply chain engagement, including initiatives such as the CDL SME Supplier Decarbonisation Queen Bee Programme launched in May 2024, to empower its SME partners in their transition towards a low-carbon future. CDL remains committed to working closely with its suppliers to uphold best-in-class ESG practices.

EcoVadis is a globally recognised sustainability ratings platform that evaluates companies’ sustainability management systems across four themes – Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement – using a rigorous 0 to 100 score scale. Medals and badges are awarded to companies demonstrating a strong and mature sustainability management system and practices in line with EcoVadis assessment framework.
