CDL’s Management Trainee Programme has been a transformative journey for me. Through rotations across development and asset management, I gained a holistic view of how projects come to life and how teams collaborate to create long-term value. The mentorship I received – especially from colleagues who modelled discipline, responsibility, and care – shaped both my technical and leadership skills. I felt a strong sense of belonging during cross-team collaborations, where everyone supported one another even in challenging moments. This programme strengthened my resilience, broadened my perspective, and taught me that learning never stops. CDL is truly a place where growth is continuous and meaningful.

The CDL Management Trainee Programme has been a meaningful opportunity to broaden my horizons and understand how different business units work together. Each rotation came with thoughtful learning plans and guidance that helped me grow quickly and confidently. Supporting a major Sales & Marketing launch gave me first-hand insight into the complexity behind successful project rollouts. I’m grateful for mentors who patiently explained the “why” behind every task, helping me appreciate each step of the process. Having interned with CDL before joining the Management Trainee Programme, I already knew this was a place where I felt a strong sense of belonging. The programme deepened that conviction. From emceeing CDL’s Green Building, Decarbonisation & Safety Seminar to engaging in cross-functional projects, I gained exposure far beyond my expectations. I’m especially grateful for the mentorship of our Senior Management, whose guidance shaped both my career and personal development. My CDL Management Trainee journey has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. The rotations, especially my time with the Sales & Marketing team supporting the launch of Zyon Grand, gave me real ownership and a deeper appreciation of CDL’s end-to-end operations. I’m grateful for the mentorship from leaders who invested time to guide and structure my learning. CDL’s supportive culture – especially towards employees with familial responsibilities – helped me balance work and personal commitments confidently.
